The plan is for this new site to become as much an online hub for automotive enthusiasts as Armorama has become for other military scale modeling projects. We can't do that without your help and interaction though. So please take a moment to look around, signup if you haven't already created an account on the KitMaker Network. And if you have that login will work here just fine.
We are always interested in user contributions of photos, articles, reviews or anything you feel your fellow modelers might be interested in. In many ways this is YOUR site. It is not the work of one person or even a small handful. And that is the way we like it.

Jim is the founder and sole software developer for the KitMaker Network. He created Armorama back in 2001 as a hobby to learn more about how to build large community Web sites. As someone who had built models, Jim was hoping that creating a fun and interactive site covering scale modeling might even get him back into the hobby (and it has). He lives in Clovis, California with his wife and daughter.

I enjoy cars, through and through I am a car guy. From building scale models to working on my own cars.

Born 1967. Bachelor of Applied Science, Chemistry and Aquatic Biology, currently working in Construction Industry as Technical Sales in Hydronic systems. Married to Karen, with 4 children, Jessica, Lola, Joshua and Liam. Other hobbies are guitars, fishing and woodwork, but with 5 kids at home I don't get to indulge in any of them. Built model trucks with my father as a boy, got interested in aircraft in my early teens, then didn't do much (apart from stash enhancement) for about 20 years.
