A new release for you BMW fans!:-
The Z1 was written in 1986 as a research vehicle and was not originally intended for mass production. The test vehicle was but so convincing that the open two-seater then it should work in larger numbers from the band. 1987 at the IAA in Frankfurt, the Roadster triggered downright exuberant enthusiasm. From July 1989, the former test car rolled off. In addition to its lines fell particularly the retractable doors on to the exceptional sports car. The Z1 had a 6-cylinder engine with 2494 cc engine, which delivered 170 hp and a top speed of 225 km / h allowed. Due to necessary, but expensive handmade by June 1991 only if a total of 8,000 units were manufactured. The success of the Z1 made the car to pioneer a veritable wave Roadster.
