Tamiya has a good record with their car models and the latest one announced is a 1/24t scale Mazda Roadster (MX-5. This kit has a release date of November 2015, but no recommended price has been released as of this time.
2015 saw the debut of the 4th generation Mazda Roadster (MX-5), the iconic car with a heritage dating back to 1989. This dynamic lightweight car was made to amplify the thrill of driving, with a punchy 1.5-liter (2.0-liter in North America) engine and 6-speed transmission, while including modern must-haves such as advanced safety equipment. Tamiya has faithfully captured the NEW roadster in 1/24 scale! Details include; option to choose left or right hand drive, soft top in folded position and highly detailed interior.

• 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 164mm, width: 80mm.
• The model breathtakingly captures the car’s dynamic form with roof and side windows down.
• Features realistic depictions of the underside and interior.
• Metal transfers are included to recreate emblems and side mirror surfaces.
• The model can be assembled as left- or right-hand drive versions, and includes markings to recreate Japanese, U.S. and rest-of-the-world market cars.
