Well looks like Hasegawa dropped a big teaser this week ahead of the Shizuoka Hobby Show coming up in May. Here are a few pictures of the BMW 2002Tii in 1/24 scale. Having a large cult following, this car is what put BMW on the map in the US with it's fun small zippy cars.

Almost a month before the Shizuoka Hobby Show, Hasegawa is scheduled to release a wonderful BMW 2002Tii along with many different re-releases such as the AE101 Race Car. The BMW 2002Tii was a big surprise as there haven't been any news or leaks prior to these images. This BMW is also the predecessor to the E30 3 Series and has a huge cult following. From the images, we can see there are a few build options such as mirrors and bumpers. I'm looking forward to see any prototypes of the model at the show in addition to any other releases Hasegawa has at its booth.
