Happy Holidays everyone. As the year draws to a close, we will take the time to celebrate another year with family and friends. There has been a few modeling releases over the last two months. I'm sure many of you are now aware of this kit release by BeeMax, the Volvo 240 Turbo which we had announced a few months back when it was still in it's prototyping stage.
BeeMax has done a decent job of releasing race cars that seem to be much less mainstream. From Gran Touring cars to Rally Cars that didn't make podium or were much less received by the enthusiasts. With this release, the Volvo 240 Turbo in '86 Macau GP livery, seem to be a very good representation of the Touring car scene of Asia in the 80s. The tour car races that take place in the streets of Macau are exciting to watch and often times extremely dangerous due to its narrow track and close proximity to walls.

From the product photos as well as the two built examples of the kit, the parts seem to be very well molded and details clearly visible. The photo etch will be sold separately. This will definitely be a kit that we look forward to seeing in the near future.

Since we're talking Volvo here, I want to say I would love to see a P1800 kit at some point.
