Hasegawa have produced a new tool kit of the 1986 Suzuki GSX-R750 (G)(GR71G) in 1/12th scale.
Suzuki GSX-R750 (G)(GR71G)
Item no. - BK7(21507)
Scale - 1/12th
Category - Japanese Motorcycle
Estimated No. of parts - 166

Suzuki GSX-R750 is a family of 750 cc sports motorcycles from Suzuki's GSX-R series of motorcycles. Looking like a Suzuki Endurance racer, it can be considered to be the first affordable, modern racer-replica suitable for road use. It was introduced at the Cologne Motorcycle Show in October 1984.

The GSX-R750 (G) 1986 model received a 25 mm longer swing arm to improve the handling. Apart from a modified belly pan and upgraded headlamps there is very little difference between the 1985 and 1986 models. 1986 is the first year the model was introduced to the US.

Looks like a nice kit. However I wish someone would do something like this for British bikes. With the exception of the old Protar kits regurgitated by Italaeri, the Revell Tiger 100 and the Matchbox Vincent, there isn't much to go at. I'm sure kits of e.g. Triumph Bonneville, BSA Gold Star, BSA A10 and A65, Norton Dominator, Velocette Venom, Royal Enfield Interceptor/Constellation and Vincent twin would sell well, not least to people who owned them!
