Hey Bob,

Which kit is this? Is it a stock build? Any way to get some more pics of this? Looks great!

Wow...more interest than I thought;
Ok, more pics can be had, but if you give me a direction, I'll aim that way.
Kit{s} involved; AIT resin B-61 cab, AIT mack gas tanks, amt pete wrecker sliced and diced for the bed, and the amt mack dm600 for the chassis{use the r-685 and you'll have less fit issues with the rear wheels and axles..it's mighty tight in there -wheels to inside fo the wrecker body, and I took about a 1/4 off each side to get to that point...the dm's sit wider in back!}, and scratch built pieces for the wrecker boom assy. This is the old model cars mag article build for the wrecker....

I like the tall stacks on this one. At first I thought it was a repaint of the First Gear diescast, but its a real builders model. Nice work so far, hope to see more soon.

Since Bob hasn't been around in a while, and hasn't replied to this post in 5 years; there's no way of knowing.

Yeah...the dumb smuck took off and left everybody hanging...oh wait....that smuck is me!{oops}
Sorry folks- life knocked me over and the bench too...laid off from a job of 25yrs and had to remap my life.

Now...let me see if I can get back to this one...I really want to see it finished too, once I clear off the half decade of dust off of it.
BTW- that 1st shot was just pieced together...now she's in pieces...

Hey Bob,

Good to see ya back. I feel that way too when life gets a wild hair up it's bum and brings everything to a halt.
I'm sure you'll get things back on track. Major curve balls are hard to get over, I've seen 'em too often. Stuff happens for a reason and we don't why when it happens, but it happens. Life doesn't come with a GPS. I wish it did some days.

I hope you got some comp's out of them for being there for 25 years.

Anyways, clean off the work space, get to building again.

See ya in the funnies...........

Cool! Yes, glad to see you back! Hopefully the time away has given you time to strategize this build some more.
