Well today I finally managed to add a complete and unstarted 57 to this project, been searching for one for years now. This will be built OOB as per box top, not sure of colour yet.
Cheers, D

In 1/12 scale that will be a big car. What does the "3 'n 1" provide. I can't read the writing on the box - is it just cosmetic or something more structural?
cheers

Yes indeed, it will be about 400mm long when assembled. Lots of scope for successful detailing with my 10 thumbs!

Options are provided for Stock, Street and Strip versions. There are different decals (flames, names, sponsors etc), wheel sets, engine parts (stock intake, or hi-rise intake manifold for Street, or blower for strip), 2 bonnets (hoods) to cater for stock engine or modified, and interior alternatives (roll bars, gauges, steering wheels). Even the dice to hang from the mirror! The Corvette and Camaro kits also offer similar options.
Apologies for the photo quality, this box has obviously been kicking around for a few years.
If you want to see some parts or anything else, please just let me know.
Cheers, D

Great addition to your, growing, Chevy collection.
400mm long, that's a BIG model.

D,
so which version are you planning on building? Those engines all must be spectacular in 1/12 scale.

I'm thinking of doing the Hardtop as a restored original with stock engine, and putting the High-rise engine in the convertible. No doubt my plans will change several times over before I get started though

D,
I'd go for the Original version myself as I'm more of a purest then anything else.

Found this kit trawling through some Facebook BSS sites, sealed internal bags and quite reasonable price, how could I resist?
Will post photos of the contents once it arrives.

D,
With all your purchases, the Australian PO should be giving you a commercial discount.

And I think GM should make you an Ambassador for the Chevy brand in Australia

Can't wait to see how this one pans out. Or are you just creating a used car dealership "Rigby's Recks"

There's gotta be a joke in there somewhere about my wife and daughters' driving skills, but I'm not touching it
