Hello,

I'm building my second car kit and I'm using Tamiya's aftermarket set.

I want to use the racing harnesses instead of the decal, but I have to open up some slits in the sides of the seat. I practiced on a spare seat, but I mangled it up pretty bad.

Any recommendations or tips?

Thank You

Drill a series of holes as close together as possible and use either your knife or a fine razor saw to cut out the remaining material, then you can carefully clean up with a knife blade.

A pointed razor saw is a really handy piece of kit if you are doing a few builds requiring this type of modification.

Cheers, D
