D maybe you should have entered this in ModelShiprights Dry Docked campaign, It's certainly a Land Yacht! Or, is this going to be your new entry in Garage Queens 2020?

Looks really good. It's an inspiration for my '57 Bel Air.

That's not a bad idea, 1-1/2 days in and I'm done, where's my ribbon??

Thanks mate, much appreciated, and especially glad if I can help push that '57 to the finish line! Hmm, that wasn't exactly what I was trying to say

Cheers, D

Russ, did you get any photos? I always love to see the classic cruisers out and about.

Beautiful work as always D!

So sorry to here about the fit issues with the windscreen but you handled them nicely!

As for the black, well don't be too hard on yourself. Black is the most difficult colour to paint, IMHO, and you did a good job on her!

Indeed I did get some pics. Shall I post them here?

I started a thread a few years back where they would fit right in. I will find it and bring it to the top.

Great perseverance with this Damian and despite all its foibles it looks very impressive at the finished. Great start to 2020!

cheers

A shame the paintjob isn't ad smooth, as you would have liked it to be, but it's still a great looking model, with so many great detail, you can be proud of.
