Hoi motorheads,

In another forum thread, Cosimodo suggested launching a Porsche campaign.

It would be something like:

A Porsche campaign, any scale, any time, road and racetrack, prototype and mass produced, but no military.

starting 1-09-2018,

finishing 1-09-2019

Already signed up:

Cosimodo,
Drabslab,
Szmann.

If we would get some additional interest then I might just ask the "site powers that be" for initiating that campaign.

Great idea, lots of subject matter available. I don't have any in the stash, but who knows what might happen over the next 6 months ??

Haha! And you pay cruelty with sadism, I see! The bare truth is that I bought it based on price not on preference. The main piece in that order is Tamiya's Mercedes 300SL Gullwing for which I've been drooling since its release, some three years ago! Now, not to insult anyone with my humble Porsche, can I join the campaign with my Gullwing? Can I? Btw, Ferdinand Porsche was Daimler Benz designer before going on his own. Maybe that's old news for many of you, but I just found out!

We are probably there with the indicated interest. I don't know who this gets submitted to.

With Porsche having designed, improved, equipped... a huge amount of vehicles, including Harley Davidson engines I guess we better stick to vehicles with an actual Porsche sign on them😉

And my entry has arrived. A kit that must have been first issued about 40 years ago, this is a re-issue with some small etch and the bonus of Cartograf decals.

Michael, I'm not sure how I miss the above post until now

The "bonus of Cartograf decals" will make the difference over those compound curves. I wasn't aware about these "pimped up" Tamiya kits!

I just checked the Campaign tab above and there is no Porsche campaign listed. So how do we sign up?

Is the campaign going to start some time in the future rather then post dating it back 7 months to Jan. ?
