The west coast of Ontario is getting snow for the past week. Here's my truck. Roads are sanded only in the subdivision, but salted and sanded in the county.

Yes the Niagara Region had up to 30cm(12in) of snow Sunday night through Tuesday morning. Everybody was caught of guard, snow tires not installed.

We only got a dusting of snow after a few hours of sleet here on Long Island. Temps did drop from the 60s yesterday to the 20-30s today. I'm already looking forward to Spring. Did I mention how much I hate winter and the cold temps.

I would rather have many feet of snow and freezing temperatures than what you have. I hope you aren't affected by the fires? If so stay safe.
