The rationale for this work is the enjoyment of the model making, combined with a passion for Formula One.  Also, the desire to represent all the visible engineering to make sense of what is seen, to celebrate the ingenuity and design genius displayed by the leading designers of Formula One during the 1960s and 1970s. 

This is the first of several volumes to present on-going work in the production of one-off, non-commercially available 1/12 scale detailed models of Formula One Grand Prix cars.
