Toyota MR2, Japan's first mass-produced midship sport
The first MR2, sold in 1984, was the first commercial
midship sports car by a Japanese automobile manufacturer and was awarded the Japan Car of the Year in the same year.
In 1986 the late model appeared, superchargers and T-bar roof equipped cars have been set.
