In the early 1980s, the "Super Silhouette Series" was a race that excited car enthusiasts. Monster machines such as the Skyline and Silvia, which looked like production cars, wore flashy aero parts and were powered by turbocharged engines with more than 570PS in their lightweight bodies weighing less than one ton, raced down the straights at menacing speeds.
